HonestMechanic.com was born out of one man's frustration at being ripped off repeatedly by dishonest mechanics.

I have spent the majority of my life in the beautiful city of Houston, Texas. I have owned several cars and boats in my lifetime and it seemed that every time I needed a vehicle repaired, I got ripped off. -- Until I ran into Dennis at Mustang Auto (located in Friendswood, Texas, just south of Houston). Dennis treated me honestly and fairly, so I reocmmend him to everyone I knew.

A couple of years ago I moved to beautiful Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the process started all over again, with finding an honest mechanic. That's how HonestMechanic.com was born -- to help people find a good mechanic in their location, without finding the crooks!
